Phex 3.4.2 released
Written by Arne Babenhauserheide
Sunday, 01 February 2009
Today the Phex development group is happy to announce the release of Phex 3.4.2.
This is a minor release, yet it contains some tasty improvements.

The changes since Phex 3.4.0 are:

  • Less wait time for the first connections,
  • Strong leafs become Ultrapeers,
  • Automatic reconnect on network failure.

And a few squashed bugs.

But even though Phex made good progress, we want it to evolve even faster, and so we're searching for additional developers who want to join us in development.

If you want to contribute to Phex, please come into our forums or meet us in IRC via #phex @ freenode.net.

A poll on Your wishes
Written by Arne Babenhauserheide
Monday, 14 May 2007
We just started two new polls to find out into which direction you want Phex to move.
Please take a moment to read through the polls and select your favourite feature.

We've divided the question into two sets.
The first one includes features which can be implemented in half a year.
The second one shows four big items which will take a lot of time and energy to implement, so we need to be careful which direction we take.

Those are big decisions for Phex, and we want to include you into these decisions, so please vote to make your input count.

If you want to add more feedback, or if you want to offer your help, please visit us in the Phex-forum.

Also we're always searching for people who like to help us in shaping the Phex-Wiki into a universal knowledgebase for Phex and Gnutella.

Htrc T240 Duo Firmware Update Verified Jun 2026

Before attempting any updates, be aware of significant safety concerns regarding HTRC chargers: Fire Hazard Recall: Approximately 34,600 units of the similar HTRC C240 Duo

The HTRC T240 Duo is a highly popular, budget-friendly dual-channel RC battery charger. It is capable of handling LiPo, LiFe, Lilon, LiHV, NiCd, NiMH, and Pb batteries. While the charger packs impressive hardware out of the box, operating system bugs, screen flickering, voltage calibration drift, or touchscreen unresponsiveness can occasionally surface.

If you are looking for a verified method to update your HTRC T240 Duo firmware safely, this comprehensive guide covers the exact files, tools, and step-by-step procedures required to complete the process without bricking your device. Why Update Your HTRC T240 Duo Firmware? htrc t240 duo firmware update verified

Download the official package containing the .hex or .bin firmware file, the USB-to-UART driver (usually CH340 or CP210x variants depending on the hardware revision), and the flashing software (like HT-Flash or Avrdude-based tools). Step-by-Step Firmware Update Process

Elias took a breath and connected the T240 to his laptop. The screen flickered as the update tool recognized the dual-channel charger. He clicked "Update," and the progress bar began its slow, agonizing crawl. On the charger’s touch screen, the usual interface vanished, replaced by a stark, blue bootloader screen. "Don't lose power now," he whispered to the empty room. Before attempting any updates, be aware of significant

This is the most direct user testimony confirming the absence of a verified firmware update for the T240 DUO. While some individuals have speculated about potential "unofficial" updates found on obscure sites or third-party forums, there is of a successful, safe, and verified firmware update applied by any user. Any such unofficial file would be extremely risky to attempt, as it could irreversibly brick the charger.

The T240 Duo emitted a sharp, confident beep. The screen flashed white before settling into a crisp, updated UI. Elias navigated to the system info page. There, in clear white text, were the words he’d been holding his breath for: If you are looking for a verified method

Open the HTRC Update Tool on your computer, select the downloaded .bin file, and click "Update" .

Before attempting to flash the device, gather the necessary hardware tools to prevent bricking the charger.
